His Story.
Our Mission.
We are dedicated to educate and unite our community in response to the opioid crisis through awareness, prevention, and early education. By focusing on youth and parents, we aim to reduce stigma, promote understanding, and prevent addiction through knowledge, compassion, and proactive action.
Noah’s Ark of Hope Foundation was created from love, built through grief, and driven by an unwavering commitment to protect our youth and prevent other families from the pain we live with every day.
Noah Giovanni, was the heart of his family. At just 17 years old, he had already made an impact that many never make in a lifetime. He was kind in a way that was natural and effortless. Funny without even trying. Outgoing, and so full of life.
Noah played football and ran track. He worked hard, pushed himself, and showed up for his team the same way he showed up for everyone else in his life. He believed in lifting others up. He was a friend to many, who made sure no one ever felt alone, the teammate who encouraged others when they were down, the son who hugged tight and loved deeply. Noah had a heart for helping people and stood up for those who needed a voice. That was simply who he was.
When Noah passed to an opioid, our world shattered. But even in our deepest grief, we knew Noah’s life was too meaningful to end in silence. We began educating others about the dangers of opioids. We began speaking out — not because it was easy, but because it was necessary.
That is how Noah’s Ark of Hope Foundation was created.
Our foundation exists to turn tragedy into purpose. We are committed to raising awareness about overdose prevention, educating students and families about the very real dangers of opioids, advocating for accountability for those distributing deadly substances, and supporting families affected by substance use.
Every school presentation, every community event, every conversation is fueled by Noah’s legacy. His kindness drives our compassion. His strength fuels our advocacy. His selflessness inspires our mission.
We do this for the students who think it “won’t happen to me.”
We do this for the parents who simply don’t know the risks.
We do this for the families who are silently suffering.
And most of all, we do this for Noah because we are his voice. His light continues to shine. His story continues to save lives. His heart continues to move through this community.
Our Story
Our Mission Matters
Awareness. Advocacy. Action.
Noah's Ark of Hope Foundation believes lived experience can inspire awareness, compassion, and change. Guided by a young life defined by kindness, individuality, and a desire to help others, our work honors the belief that being “different” is a strength.
We are committed to education without judgment, support for families, and sharing real stories that save lives. We embrace the idea that choosing to be different means choosing to make a difference—for others, and for the future of our community.

Meet Our Board

Vanessa Ayala
President
Hi, I’m Vanessa Ayala. I’m a mom, an advocate, and someone who never imagined this would be the path I’d be on. I do this work in honor of my son, Noah—who was kind, selfless, and the type of person who made everyone feel like they mattered. He was a friend to everyone, and he is deeply missed.
After losing Noah, I knew I couldn’t stay silent. I turned my grief into purpose by speaking out, educating communities, and working to raise awareness about the dangers of opioids and the importance of prevention and compassion.
What drives me is the belief that honest and real conversations can save lives. I’m passionate about reducing stigma, supporting families, and reminding young people that their lives matter more than any moment or mistake. Everything I do is about keeping Noah’s legacy alive—by helping others, just like he always did.
